While experts do not have a consensus one way or the other, I think it is good to give children supplemental multivitamins in Pakistan. As long as you don't overdose your child on supplements (exceed the Recommended Daily Allowance for any one vitamin or mineral that is listed on the bottle), a daily dose won't hurt. Make sure the multivitamin is designed for your child's age group. Choose a multivitamin that provides 100 percent of the daily value for all vitamins and minerals.
Remember that supplements are no substitute for good food. If your child is not eating healthy, give him a vitamin supplement and simultaneously take steps to improve his diet.
